"Going through the Spiritual Gifts Workshop Holy Spirit used me to prophecy over others and it strengthened
my faith" - Christina
"I've prophesied, healed, had visions, and the Lord has shown me what He would
have me do. " - Larry
"I can't even count the times God has used me. He pulled me up out of the muck. I prayed for a guy in the hospital with a nasty infection from a work injury, and he was healed, and then there were others in the hospital that were healed. I have felt God tell me to go to certain places and what people needed. It's a feeling that makes you cry. I know God's got a lot more lined up
for me." - Ray
How has BAI impacted your life?
"I feel His presence, ask Him to hold me and keep me. I can walk into a room and feel His presence." - Caleb
"I have never walked or been in the place where God has orchestrated so much in my life. I have learned to trust God with everything. What's the worst that can happen? God can take care of it all." - Ruth
The Word
The Holy Spirit inspired the human authors of the Word of God so that the Bible is "God-breathed." We receive the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as our final, absolute authority, the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17, 2 Peter 1:19–21)
God
God is the Eternal King. He is an infinite, unchangeable Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice, power, and love. From all eternity, He exists as the One Living and True God in three persons of one substance, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory. (Isaiah 43:10–11)
God's Kingdom
God's kingdom is everlasting. From His throne, through His Son, His eternal Word, God created, upholds, and governs all that exists: the heavenly places, the angelic hosts, the universe, the Earth, every living thing, and mankind. God created all things excellent. (Genesis 1:31, John 1:1–5, Revelation 1:6)
Mankind & The Fall
God created mankind in His image, male and female, for a relationship with Himself and to govern the Earth. Under the temptation of Satan, our original parents fell from grace, bringing sin, sickness, and God's judgment of death to the Earth. Through the fall, Satan and his demonic hosts gained access to God's good creation. Creation now experiences the consequences and effects of Adam's original sin. Humans are born in sin, subject to God's judgment of death, and captive to Satan's kingdom of darkness.
(Genesis 1:26–27, Genesis 3:17–19, Romans 5:12–21)
God's Plan of Redemption
While we were yet sinners, God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ, who died for us, took our place, and purchased the pardon for all who believe in Him with His life's blood. Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death, providing our hope of salvation. (Luke 2:14, John 3:16, Titus 2:14, 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44)
Salvation Through Grace
Salvation is wholly through grace; no human righteousness or merit can contribute to our receiving God's love and favor.
(Ephesians 2:8–10)
Repentance & Regeneration
Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Jesus, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation. For anyone to know God, continual regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential.
(Acts 2:21, 3:19, 1 John 1:9, John 6:44, 65, Philippians 1:6)
Water Baptism & The Lord's Table
Water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an essential response to Jesus' command, testifying to His Lordship in our lives as Jesus Christ and our King. We observe an open Lord's Table; all are welcome to receive the broken bread and the fruit of the vine with joy and faith as we receive afresh the freedom, peace, and healing, provided in the life and triumph of Jesus Christ on the Cross. (Romans 6:4, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26, Isaiah 53:5)
Holy Spirit Baptism & Empowerment
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and fire, according to the command of Jesus. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus. He is our abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe Jesus is the one who baptizes us in the Holy Spirit, as a conscious experience, for ministry today. This is the normal Christian experience. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to exalt Jesus, live lives of holiness, and be witnesses of God's saving grace. We expect the Spirit's incoming to be in the same manner as that in which He came upon believers in the days of the Early Church. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9)
The Spirit-Filled Life & Fruit
It is the will of God that believers walk in the Spirit moment by moment, serving the Lord, building up the Body of Christ through edification, evangelism, and living lives of humility, patience, love, truth, sincerity, and prayer. As evidence of a Spirit-filled life, believers should show spiritual "fruit": love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Ephesians 4:30-32, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Galatians 5:16, 22-25)
Tithes and Offerings
Worshiping God with our tithes and offerings is ordained of God to sustain His ministry, spread the Gospel, and release personal blessing. (Malachi 3:10, Luke 6:38, 1 Corinthians 16:1–2, 2 Corinthians 9:7)
Divine Wholeness, Healing & Provision
It is the Father's will for believers to become whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life. But because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God's will while on Earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ's provision in order to serve others better. Spiritually (John 3:3-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10), Mentally & Emotionally (2 Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3), Physically
(Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24), and Financially. (Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-10)
Believer's Authority
Every believer has been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Whatever is allowed in Heaven, we can release or allow on Earth. Whatever is not allowed in Heaven, we can prohibit it on Earth. Every believer has been commissioned, as ambassadors of Jesus Christ, to go into all the world and testify to what Jesus has done and release freedom, peace, and healing through the laying on of hands and the anointing with oil. (Matthew 16:19, 18:18, Luke 10:19, John 14:12–14, Ephesians 2:6, James 5:14–15)
Civil Government
We believe that civil government is by divine appointment and that civil laws should be upheld at all times except in things opposed to the will of God. (Acts 4:18-20; Romans 13:1-5)
Marriage
God created marriage, a covenant made between a biological man and a biological woman that makes them one.
(Gen 2: 22,24; Matt 19: 5-6)
The Second Coming of Christ
The second coming of Jesus Christ is personal and imminent. The certainty of His coming and the fact that no man knows the hour of His coming prompt our evangelistic efforts. The Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, the dead in Jesus Christ will rise, and the redeemed will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. (Matthew 24:36, 42, 44; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17)
The Final Judgment
There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil, his angels, the beast, the false prophet, death, and the grave, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire, which is the second death. (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8)
Hell
We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deepest sorrow, and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but the devil and his angels; yet it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Christ as Savior.
(Matthew 13:41, 42; Revelation 10:10, 15)
Heaven
We believe Heaven is the glorious habitation of the living God and the eternal home of born-again believers.
(John 14:2; Revelation 7:15-17)
